Hygitech Haemostatic Sponges, packaged in a box of 10, are designed to help control bleeding in dental procedures. These sponges are essential for ensuring rapid and effective haemostasis, contributing to patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures or invasive dental treatments.

Made of high quality gelatin (porcine), highly processed and purified, and delivered in single sterile blister packs.

• Each individual sponge is 1 x 1 x 1cm
• Easy to use and malleable - the haemostatic sponge can be cut to fit the bleeding area and is combined with an antibacterial agent.
• Insoluble in water - as a macro-porous sponge, it is insoluble in water with a rapid absorption capacity equivalent to 40 to 50 times its weight in blood or other liquids.
• Biocompatible and non-pyrogenic It offers good adhesion to the bleeding site promoting the formation of the fibrin network which is essential to efficient coagulation.
• Complete resorption in 3-4 weeks

Helix Test Device & 250 Test Strips

The Helix test checks the ability of the autoclave to sterilise hollow objects such as suction or irrigation tubes.

The tests should be carried out daily on a specific cycle, vacuum autoclave, so that the different sterilisation cycles of the day can then be carried out.
