Perfection Plus Retraction Cord is a braided, non-impregnated gingival retraction cord made from 100% bleached absorbent cotton. Size 0 is a fine cord suited to most routine cases. It gently displaces the gingival tissue to give clear access to preparation margins before impressions, digital scans or restorative work.

Because the cord is supplied plain, you can use it dry or soak it in your preferred retraction solution. That lets you adjust tissue management to each patient and procedure. The absorbent cotton takes up solution readily and helps control moisture in the sulcus. The braided construction gives a consistent, easy-to-handle cord for straightforward packing.

Each bottle holds 300cm of cord, which is plenty for repeated use across many procedures.

Perfection Plus Retraction Cord in size 1 is a medium-thickness, braided gingival retraction cord made from 100% bleached absorbent cotton. It gives effective tissue displacement where a little more bulk is needed, such as posterior preparations or thicker gingival tissue. That opens and holds the sulcus so margins can be captured accurately in impressions and digital scans.

The cord is non-impregnated, so you decide how to use it. Place it dry, or pre-soak it in the retraction solution of your choice to suit the clinical situation. The absorbent cotton fibres hold solution well and help keep the field dry around the margin. The braided structure keeps the cord consistent and easy to handle during packing.

Each 300cm bottle gives good value and plenty of cord for everyday use. 

Perfection Plus Retraction Cord in size 2 is the thickest option in the range. It is a braided, non-impregnated gingival retraction cord made from 100% bleached absorbent cotton. Its larger diameter gives stronger lateral tissue displacement, so it suits deeper sulci, thicker gingival tissue and cases where the margin needs to be opened further for a clear, accurate impression or scan.

Because it is supplied plain, the cord can be used dry or pre-soaked in your chosen retraction solution, so you can tailor tissue management to each case. The highly absorbent cotton draws up solution readily and helps keep the margin free from sulcular fluid. The braided construction gives a uniform cord that handles predictably while packing.

Each bottle holds 300cm of cord, so it lasts a long time in busy restorative practices. 

RetractPLUS from Perfection Plus is a blue-green haemostatic retraction paste. It temporarily displaces the marginal gingiva and keeps the sulcus dry and clean ahead of impressions, digital scans, cementation and restorative work.

The acidic paste contains aluminium chloride, which has a haemostatic and astringent effect. It quickly controls bleeding and seepage in the sulcus without irritating or discolouring the surrounding soft tissue. That gives you a clear, uncontaminated view of the preparation margin, which helps you capture accurate detail and achieve a reliable seal.

The paste is applied directly into the sulcus through a fine syringe tip, which gives precise, controlled placement even in hard-to-reach areas. Its blue-green colour makes it easy to see where the paste has been placed. RetractPLUS works well on its own, or alongside retraction cord when additional displacement is needed, so you can adapt your tissue management technique to each case.

Each pack contains two 2g syringes and twelve application tips, ready to use straight from the box.

SilTrax Plain from Pascal is a braided, non-impregnated gingival retraction cord made from 100% cotton. The 00 (No. 7) extra small size suits thin, tight sulci, where it gently displaces tissue to expose crown and cavity margins before impression taking or restorative work.

The cord is memory-free, so it stays where you place it in the sulcus rather than springing back out. That makes packing quicker and more predictable, especially around anterior teeth and thin gingival biotypes.

Because it is supplied plain, you can soak it in the haemostatic agent of your choice, giving you control over tissue management on each case. SilTrax is compatible with all impression materials, so it fits easily into your existing workflow whether you use PVS, polyether or alginate.

The bottle is designed to keep the cord from tangling and to stop it falling back inside after dispensing, which means less waste and a cleaner chairside setup.
