BD Plastipak Syringe - 50ml Catheter Tip is a single-use, disposable 50ml syringe with a long, tapered catheter tip designed for cleaning catheters, gastrostomy tubes and other medical devices, as well for wound irrigation.

• Transparent barrel with bold scale in 1ml graduations allows precise measurement and visual check of medication dose
• Latex-free stopper creates tight seal between barrel and plunger
• Plunger lubricated with medical-grade silicone oil to ensure smooth movement up and down barrel
• Retaining ring reduces risk of accidental withdrawal of plunger rod
• Can be used with BD Luer-Lok needle hub or extension line and with non-ISO compatible Luer connections (such as nasogastric tubes)
• BD Plastipak syringes are validated for use by most infusion-pump manufacturers, reducing risk to patients of false alarms, infusion interruption and sub-optimal infusion rates
